Journey to the West, a Sci-fi Romcom hybrid made by the rising star of Chinese cinema - Kong Dashan, is finally released in the cinemas in China. We went for a trip with director Kong, the co-writer/actor Wang and lead actor Yang, diving into the dreamy and poetic making off of their film. And we, as the companions, made it into a meta road movie.
